Issue No. 2325- Besides a Will, all transactions can be conducted by writing and signing, as it is customary nowadays with business-related documents that are completed by signing. However, marriage and divorce contracts are void when concluded only in written as an obligatory precaution.
Issue No. 2197- If, instead of announcing verbally, he makes a written announcement at places where people come and go, and the people there are mostly literate or the literate individuals read out the announcement to the illiterate ones, and if it remains there for a year, it will be sufficient.
Issue No.1004- It is recommended that after writing the sacred name of the holy Prophet, Ṣalawāt also be written after it. It is better that whenever his name is recalled, even though it is not uttered, [that] Ṣalawāt is bestowed upon him, because Ṣalawāt is one of the Dhikrs that entail graceful and the utmost rewards.
Issue No.1790- Writing and signing documents relating to a transaction whether in a notary office, or elsewhere, can replace the verbal formula (and would suffice for it) except for marriage and divorce in which verbal formula is necessary, as an obligatory precaution.
Issue No.160- Writing the holy Qur'an with najis ink is haram, and if it is written whether intentionally or unintentionally, it should be erased or washed off.
Issue No.1831- In the agreement of the partnership, they can lay down a condition that both the partners will buy and sell together, or each of them may conclude transactions individually, or only one of them may conclude transactions. In any case, they should act according to the agreement reached between them. However, in case nothing is specified, neither of them can conclude any transactions with the capital, without the permission of the other.
Issue No.494-Many women will discharge blood for a month or more after childbirth. If such women have a regular period, they should consider the time equal to the duration of their menstruation as nifās and the next ten days as istiḥāḍah. If after the lapse of ten days the bleeding coincides with the days of their menstrual period (irrespective of whether the blood bears the signs of ḥayḍ or not), they must act according to the rules relating to a ḥā’iḍ and in case it does not coincide with their period, it should be regarded as istiḥāḍah unless the blood has the signs of ḥayḍ.
Issue No.495- If women who do not have a fixed period (i.e., women with an irregular period and nāsīyah women), discharge blood for a month or more after childbirth, they should consider the first ten days as nifās, and the second ten days as istiḥāḍah and henceforth, if the blood has the signs of ḥayḍ, it should be treated as ḥayḍ, otherwise, it will also be istiḥāḍah.
Issue No.849 - If a man recites the adhān it is sufficient for a woman hearing it. However if a woman recites adhān it is not sufficient for a man hearing it.
Issue No. 2064- A wife is not bound to provide household services, to cook, clean or wash, etc. unless she does so on her own willingness; if the husband compels her to do so, the wife may claim wages in return.
Issue No. 2301- If a father forbids his son to take an oath, or the husband forbids his wife to take an oath, their oath is not valid. Even if a son takes an oath without the permission of his father, or a wife takes an oath without the permission of her husband, their oath will not be in order.
Issue No. 2152- A woman who is observing ‘iddah of death should refrain from wearing ornamental clothing or using kohl (eyeliner) and doing any act which is considered to be an adornment.
