Issue No. 1331- If a non-Muslim embraces Islam in the month of Ramadan before ẓuhr, he should fast as an obligatory precaution, provided he has not performed any act which invalidates the fast and there is no need to perform qaḍā of the fast. Similarly, if a patient recovers from his illness before ẓuhr in the month of Ramadan and has not done any act which invalidates the fast, he should make the intention to observe fast and he should also, as an obligatory precaution, perform the qaḍā of the fast. But if he recovers after ẓuhr, it is not obligatory for him to observe fast on that day; he should then perform it as qaḍā alone.

Issue No. 2204- If a person finds a property and picks it up under the impression that it is his own property, but realizes later that it is not his, he cannot leave it there. In fact, he should act according to the foregoing ruling and make an announcement for a year. And if he moves it with his foot, it does not have the aforesaid ruling, though doing such is problematic.

Issue No. 1739- If a person can perform ḥajj by getting a loan, ḥajj will not be obligatory on him, but if some people pay his ḥajj expenses as well as the expenses of his family during that period, ḥajj will become obligatory on him.

Issue No.645- If a person is imprisoned in a usurped place, he can perform tayammum on its earth or stone and offer his prayers.

Issue No.1161- When a person adopts a place as his residence in a way that he is no longer considered as a traveller there irrespective of whether he has the intention of living there permanently or temporarily (for example, he intends to stay there for two years or more uninterruptedly), this place is considered to be his hometown. This rule also applies to government employees and office workers who may serve every two years at a place. They should treat that place as their hometown.

Issue No.876- It is recommended that after the takbīrat-ul-iḥrām, one should recite this with the intention of rajā’ (seeking the pleasure of Allah (swt)):يا مُحْسِنُ قَدْ اَتاکَ الْمُسىءُ وَ قَدْ أَمَرْتَ الْمـُحْسِنَ اَنْ يَتَجاوَزَ عَنِ الْمُسيئِ اَنتَ الْمـُحْسِنُ وَ أَنَا الْمُسيئُ بِحَقِّ مُحَمَّد وَ آلِ مُحَمَّد صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّد وَ آلِ مُحَمَّد وَ تَجاوَزْ عَنْ قَبِيحِ ما تَعْلَمُ مِنّى(O Beneficent Lord! This sinful servant of Yours has come before You and You have ordered the righteous and the beneficent ones to pardon the sinners. You are the Beneficent, and I am a sinner. Bestow Your blessings on Muhammad and his progeny, and pardon my evil acts of which You are aware).

Issue No. 1704- A sayyid cannot receive zakāt of fiṭrah from a non-sayyid.

Issue No. 1575- Khums can be given to sayyids whose maintenance is obligatory on somebody who cannot meet their expenses. For example, a sayyid woman whose husband is not able to meet her expenses can receive khums.

Issue No. 2222- If a wolf tears the throat of a sheep in such a way that nothing remains out of the four vessels in its neck which should be cut while it is slaughtered, the sheep becomes haram. However, if the vessels are sound and the sheep is still alive, if it is slaughtered in accordance with the rule which was said, it will be halal. Whenever an animal is slaughtered not in the way prescribed by the sharia, is ṭāhir though it is haram to eat. Therefore, the leather imported from non-Islamic countries is ṭāhir but one cannot perform prayer in them.

Issue No.531- If a foetus of four months or more is still-born, its dead body should be given ghusl but if it had not yet completed four months, it should, as an obligatory precaution, be wrapped up in a piece of cloth and buried without ghusl.

Issue No.1783- A commodity which is sold by observation, like a house, car and carpets of various kinds, cannot be sold without observation, and if they are sold without being seen, the transaction would not be in order.

Issue No. 1189- If a person is a traveller at the outset of prayer time and does not perform prayer and later he arrives in his hometown or a place he wishes to reside at for ten days, he should offer complete prayer. On the contrary, if a person who is not a traveller does not offer prayer at the beginning of prayer time, and goes on a journey, he should offer qaṣr prayer during the journey.
